Alfred Dubucand Delabrierre was an exceptional sculptor whose life remains shrouded in mystery, with little recorded about him beyond his remarkable body of work. Born in Paris on March 29, 1829, and passing away in 1912, Delabrierre dedicated his life to the art of animal sculpture.
